UPCOMING CLASSES!

Here's a description of my other October classes:

Friday, October 19th from 10-1pm:
HALLOWEEN TREASURES @ Let's Play! Art & Drama Mini-Camp
Let's explore Halloween through stories, music, and creating one of a kind decorations to take home!  Bring your imagination as we create our own Halloween spooky story to act out.

Friday, October 26th from 10-1pm:
MONSTER MADNESS @ Let's Play! Art & Drama Mini-Camp
Let's create our own Halloween Monster with goofy eyes and hairy fur!  Using some recycled art supplies, let's use our imaginations to create a one of a kind Monster surprise.  Nice Monsters welcome too!

And...I'm starting a really exciting new class that combines my love of nature, drama, and photography:

NEW!!!  Let's Play! Photography for Kids
Session:  8 weeks - Thursdays 3:30-5pm - 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, (no class 11/22), 11/29, 12/6, 12/13
Location:  Tracy's - Lafayette, CA (Most classes will be held outside unless raining)
Ages 5-12
This class is designed for the creative child who is interested in exploring the world through photography.  Each week students will focus on a different aspect of photography and get a chance to shoot as many photographs as they like on a new Nikon L26 digital camera.  At the beginning of class each week students will view a printed version of their best photos from the previous week's shoot.  They will use their printed photographs to share ideas, positively critique, and ultimately to add to a personal scrapbook portfolio keepsake.  As we explore different aspects and types of picture taking there will be an emphasis on play through various drama exercises and games.  At the end of the session students, family, and friends are invited for a one of a kind gallery-esque photography showing of the work they are most proud of.  During this potluck celebration students can celebrate their unique perspective of the world they see...photos of life through their eyes.

10/18:  Introduction to care and use of a digital camera.  Create your own scrapbook portfolio.
10/25:  Candids
11/1:  Portraits
11/8:  Nature
