This class is designed for the creative child who is interested in exploring the world through photography. Each week students will focus on a different aspect of photography and get a chance to shoot as many photographs as they like on a new Nikon L26 digital camera. At the beginning of class each week students will view a printed version of their best photos from the previous week's shoot. They will use their printed photographs to share ideas, positively critique, and ultimately to add to a personal scrapbook portfolio keepsake. As we explore different aspects and types of picture taking there will be an emphasis on play through various drama exercises and games. At the end of the session students, family, and friends are invited for a one of a kind gallery-esque photography showing of the work they are most proud of. During this potluck celebration students can celebrate their unique perspective of the world they see...photos of life through their eyes.
