Sign ups are OPEN:

NEW YEARS ART - 12/28/12 from 10am-1pm
Let's ring in the New Year with art inspired by reflecting on the past year and helping your child focus on the things they are most excited about and creating goals for 2013! After we explore these ideas through art, let's time travel to new places with our imagination through drama games and creating our own story!

Cost is $40 and includes all art supplies and take home art.

NEW! Famous Artist Series:  Jackson Pollock - 1/4/13 from 10am-1pm
Once a month we will devote a special class to a famous artist, exploring their particular talents and influence in art and our lives.  Starting off 2013 we will dive into influential American painter Jackson Pollock, famous as an abstract expressionist.  We will explore his work through our own drip painting and splatter artwork.  This is going to be fun and messy!  Students will really have a chance to let go and enjoy the feel of flicking paint onto a canvas!  Afterwards we will get loose with some fun drama games!

Cost is $40 and includes all art supplies and take home projects.

Thursday 11/1/12 from 10am-1pm
(NOTE: THIS PARTICULAR CLASS IS ON A THURSDAY, NOT FRIDAY AS USUAL)
Come join us for a fun day where we will take an ordinary t-shirt and make it extraordinary!  Students will have access to puffy paints, fabric markers, funny stampers, and tie dye colors!  T-shirts will be supplied, but students are welcome to bring their old ones from home to recycle them into something new and improved.  Once these creations are done we will take the fun outside to create a one of a kind play with costumes.  Cost is $40 and includes all art supplies and take home project.

MAZE-O-RAMA
Friday 11/9/12 from 10am-1pm
Let's use our logic skills and investigate spatial relationships as we create our own mazes!  Let the fun begin as we re-imagine new possibilities for our mazes using boxes, cardboard, and broken down toys.  After building, painting, and decorating these interactive mind puzzles we will take a journey to Maze-O-Rama land, creating cooky characters who will perform in our made up play.  Cost is $40 and includes all art supplies and take home project.

GRATITUDE TURKEY
Friday 11/16/12 from 10am-1pm
Looking for that perfect centerpiece for this Thanksgiving?  How about an awesome hand made turkey of gratitude made by your child!  We will use our imaginations to up-cycle ordinary discarded objects into a very special and meaningful Thanksgiving Day decoration.  Be surprised and take delight in finding out what your children are most thankful for as we encourage students to explore what they are most grateful for in their lives.  Afterwards we will enjoy a story and play improvisation games!  Cost is $40 and includes take home project.

LOVELY LIT UP LANTERNS
Friday 11/23/12 from 10am-1pm
Create a lovely keepsake lantern!  Students will turn an ordinary jar into a fantastically beautiful lantern using various beads and covering our jars in a mod podge of tissue paper colors.  These lanterns look stunning once lit up and decorating your home!  After our craft we will explore new worlds as we play a variety of drama games and even create our own play.  Cost is $40 and includes all art supplies and take home project.
